Kendrick Nguyen is CEO of Republic, a global financial technology firm backed by Valor Equity Partners, Binance, Morgan Stanley and other leading institutions. Prior to founding Republic in 2016, Kendrick led regulatory affairs and international expansion as General Counsel at AngelList. He also co-founded Coinlist and held executive roles at The Permal Group and Kanbar Enterprises. Formerly a Fellow of Stanford Law School and the Centre for Corporate Governance at Stanford University, Kendrick is frequently consulted by the staff of the US SEC, the US Congress, and the government of Vietnam on issues in the intersection of the private markets, blockchain, and retail participation.
